West Valley Township is a township in Marshall County, Minnesota, United States. The township is located at 48°25′13″N and 96°26′34″W and at 1063 feet above the sea level. According to the United States Census Bureau, the township has a total area of 36.4 square miles (94.2 km²), all of it land. As per the 2000 census, there were 147 people, 55 households, and 38 families residing in the township. The population density was 4.0 people per square mile (1.6/km²).
